Product Designer

The Role

We are looking for a Product Designer to join our remote team, working closely with our main studio in Dubai.

This role requires a designer with strong graphic and technical skills who can develop creative concepts into accurate, well-resolved design deliverables. You will work across physical signage systems, environmental graphics, designed products and public art, contributing to projects from concept development through detailed design.

You should be confident working with technical drawings, precise graphic layouts and 3D models. Attention to detail, organised working methods and clear communication are essential, particularly when collaborating remotely with a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to concept development, design discussions and project workshops.
• Develop physical signage systems, environmental graphics, designed products and public art elements.
• Produce concept, schematic and detailed design drawings, supported by 3D models where required.
• Prepare location plans, messaging layouts, technical details and graphic presentations.
• Apply LIMAH's design standards, drawing conventions and technical requirements.
• Maintain accurate, well-organised drawing files, including consistent layers, annotations and graphic standards.
• Coordinate with Lead Designers and technical teams to resolve design issues and incorporate feedback.
• Manage assigned tasks, communicate progress and deliver work to agreed quality standards and deadlines.
• Explore tools and production techniques that improve drawing accuracy, design quality and efficiency.

Requirements

• A relevant qualification in Architecture, Graphic Design, Industrial Design or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of relevant design experience, preferably involving physical products, environmental graphics, signage systems or built environment projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, including precise vector drawing, typography, layout, layer management and drawing production.
• Working knowledge of CAD and 3D modelling software such as SketchUp, Rhino or Autodesk 3ds Max.
• Strong graphic design skills and an understanding of scale, proportion, materials and the relationship between graphics and physical form.
• Ability to produce clear, accurate and consistently structured design documentation.
• Good written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively across a remote team.
• Strong attention to detail, personal responsibility and the ability to respond constructively to feedback.
• A portfolio demonstrating design development, technical precision and the ability to turn concepts into resolved physical solutions.
